Remove an obsolete timer so a VPS does not stop or restart after a maintenance plan has changed. Deleting the timer cancels a pending instruction; it does not reverse an action that already ran.

Prepare for the change
Confirm the VPS ID and the exact timer date, timezone and action. Review related timers before deletion. For example, removing a planned shutdown may also make a later startup timer unnecessary.
01 Delete a scheduled Virtualizor power action
- Open the intended VPS management page and select Self Shut Down or the available power-timer interface.
- Locate the timer by its scheduled action and date. Read all entries if more than one timer exists.
- Choose Delete for that entry and confirm the selected action. Avoid broad removal controls unless every listed timer is intentionally being cancelled.
- Refresh the timer list and check that the obsolete entry has gone. Review the remaining entries for contradictory actions.
- Update the maintenance record and notify anyone who expected the VPS to change state automatically.
How do I confirm the old power action is cancelled?
Confirm the timer no longer appears and inspect the current VPS state. If the scheduled time was close, review task history and uptime to establish whether the action executed before cancellation reached the server.
If the change does not work
If a timer remains after refresh, capture its identifier, action and time for support instead of repeatedly clicking Delete. If the server already shut down, assess whether it is safe to start it; removing the old timer does not itself start the VPS. A missing timer feature can reflect provider restrictions or a different panel theme.
